Have you ever thought of what are the best foods to pair with Japanese green tea? Tea pairing offers a superb combination of green tea and authentic Japanese cuisine. You can enjoy a Japanese multi-course meal at the Japanese restaurant “Kakuya Bessho". A tea specialist called "Chashi" from "Iwasaki Seicha" makes several kinds of tea for you that go perfectly with the food. You will be amazed by the combination of authentic Japanese teas and delicious cuisine.

茶師×料理人のコラボレーション「ティーペアリング」でお茶の魅力を再発見

季節の食材のコース料理と茶師が淹れるお茶のペアリング。
前菜からデザートまでそれぞれの料理に合わせてその場で茶師さんがお茶を淹れます。
（「茶師」＝お茶を選定・調合して製品に仕上げるお茶のプロ）

茶師は、国内外のお茶イベントで活躍するマルヒデ岩崎製茶の岩崎泰久さん。
料理人は、覚弥別墅(かくやべっしょ)の和食統括料理長、勝呂文洋さん。
今回ティーペアリングを楽しめるお店は、勝呂さんが料理長を務める覚弥別墅(かくやべっしょ)。

美味しいコース料理とお茶を堪能しながら茶師岩崎さんのお茶の魅力や楽しみ方などを聞くことができます。お茶と日本料理、それぞれの繊細な味を五感で楽しめます。

What's Matcha calligraphy?

Matcha calligraphy uses a powdered green tea solution instead of ink. The vivid green gradually changes to brown when exposed to air and the subtle scent of Matcha relaxes you. You will learn how to write your own name in Kanji characters. Don’t worry, Shoran speaks English and will patiently show you how to do it!

ティーペアリングを楽しんだ後は日本の和に触れられる「抹茶書®︎」

祖父から受け継いだ書道とお茶を世界へと発信する書道家、松蘭さん。
LAを拠点に書道パフォーマンスや水墨画などで活躍した後、地元の静岡に拠点を移し、国内外に向けてオンラインで書道レッスンをしています。
松蘭さんが国内外に発信するのは、墨の代わりに抹茶を使う新発想の「抹茶書®︎」
古き良きもの、自分のルーツを大切にしたい。故郷の静岡茶と日本文化の書道を国内外に発信したいとの思いから独自に抹茶書®︎を考案。
鮮やかな緑色は、空気に触れることで徐々に茶色に変化していくそうで、その変化の過程も含めて楽しめるのが抹茶書®︎の魅力です。

Who is Shoran?

Calligrapher Shoran is sharing her knowledge of calligraphy and Japanese tea with the world. After working as a calligraphy performer based in LA, she moved back to her hometown of Shizuoka. She invented Matcha calligraphy to promote green tea which is one of Shizuoka's specialties and Japanese culture. Now she teaches calligraphy to about 800 students from 50 countries in total, including workshops.

抹茶書®︎の考案者　松蘭先生

ANA客室乗務員として働いている間に海外経験を重ね、改めて祖父が教えていた書道の魅力に気づき、書に関わる活動を志す。
2012年、日本教育書道芸術院 師範科を卒業、松蘭書道教室開塾。
2015年にロサンゼルスにて書道家として活動。美術館、大学、ギャラリー、等様々な場所で日本人初の書道パフォーマンス、講義を行う。
現在は静岡・東京にて、「抹茶書®」や「海外旅行者向け教室」など書道の継承に努め、ワークショップを含め延べ50カ国、約800名の生徒達に書道を教えている。
